One patch, one serial

John Osborne's English patch for the 1994 game is version 1.0, dated 12 December 2006, and the archive record limits it to SLPS-00017. A later fix, catalogued alongside it, addresses a save freeze. A small patcher project bundles the translation and that fix so you can apply or remove them. NPC dialogue was partly translated by someone credited as Kaz. I am repeating the credits as the archive states them.

Apply it only to a dump of a disc you own. This page does not host the disc and does not host the patch file. If your image is SLUS-00158 or SLUS-00255, you already have the retail English of the US games. Patching those is how you corrupt a good file.

Additional I and II remain untranslated in this record. Pilot Style has a separate English patch noted in catalogs around June 2012. I mention it so it is not confused with the 2006 tomb patch. The parent list is all patches.

Does King's Field III need a patch?

The US release, titled King's Field II, is already English. The Japanese disc is another image, and I am not pointing at a second translation file here.
