Verdite2 rebuilds the US King's Field, serial SLUS-00158. The record lists version 0.5.2 on 26 October 2026, with widescreen ratios, perspective correction, less vertex jitter, modern twin-stick and mouse controls, and a reload when you die. The author describes it as an AI-driven attempt that can be finished, with occasional bugs. It does not include the game. You bring a dump.

Verdite3 does the same for US King's Field II, serial SLUS-00255, version 0.2.0 on 18 October 2026, for Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck. A public write-up dates the reveal to 9 October 2026. King's Field II Remade, by Rotmill, is an Unreal Engine demo of the first US game's opening, free on itch.io, using original assets. I link the author and do not mirror the build.

I looked for a separate randomizer repository and did not land on one I will cite. The phrase "AI overhaul" in search lines up with the Verdite2 author's own description, not a second product. Sword of Moonlight remains the official 2000 tool. None of this is a FromSoftware remaster. The status of a real sequel is on the news page.

FAQ

Do these projects include the game files?

Verdite2 and Verdite3 do not. They ask for your dump. The Remade demo is a separate author's build.

Is there a randomizer?

I did not find a repository I can cite. It is not listed as available.

Is this an official port?

No. The official PC-adjacent release is Sword of Moonlight from 2000, which is a tool.
