Inventory and source coverage
| Game | Inventory rows | Source coverage | Public directory |
|---|---|---|---|
| JP 1994 | 1 | Sourced boss articles; a complete mid-boss roster is not available in this directory. | Boss directory |
| JP II · 1995 / US King’s Field | 2 | Sourced boss articles; a complete mid-boss roster is not available in this directory. | Boss directory |
| JP III · 1996 / US King’s Field II | 2 | Sourced boss articles; a complete mid-boss roster is not available in this directory. | Boss directory |
| IV · The Ancient City | 1 | Sourced boss articles; a complete mid-boss roster is not available in this directory. | Boss directory |
This boss inventory includes every existing article in Fandom’s boss category plus the separately documented Dark One. The game columns distinguish a boss role from appearances as a character in another game. Open each row for its source and check date.
The available source directory is incomplete for intermediate bosses, especially in The Ancient City. The coverage matrix makes that gap explicit and links the original directory; unfilled wiki links are not promoted into named boss entries or combat statistics.
Four endings, and one father
Reinhardt III closes the 1994 tomb with dark magic, on the smallest floor. Guyra, the black dragon, closes Melanat, and the Moonlight Sword on that disc is behind him rather than on the way. Seath, the white dragon, closes Verdite. Before that, John Alfred Forester is fought while Seath occupies him. The Dark One closes The Ancient City, in a fight the notes describe as repeated hits followed by a dropping maze. Two endings there depend on the Moonlight Sword.
I do not have a sourced mid-boss list for Heladin. Unfinished wiki links are not names I will print. The enemy page holds skeletons and mummies. Seath's belief and the Vallad split are on the Seath page, not repeated as a move list here.
If you want the route that reaches each fight, use the matching walkthrough rather than a boss-only shortcut. These games hide the last door behind keys.

FAQ
Who is the final boss of each main game?
Reinhardt III, Guyra, Seath, and the Dark One, in Japanese release order.
Is John Alfred Forester a final boss?
No. He is a 1996 boss on the way to Seath.
What are the Ancient City mid-bosses?
I do not have a list I trust, so none are named here.
