Verdite

A small kingdom, not the whole series

Verdite is one of three kingdoms in the Valicia telling, alongside Granatyki and Egret, in the version of the history that follows King Harvine's death. It is forest and mist more than a capital you can see from the first step. The crystal associated with the kingdom amplifies magic. That is the relic the lore notes repeat, and I do not have a second independent measurement of what "amplify" does in numbers.

The 1994 game is under the royal cemetery of this kingdom: Jean Alfred Forester, son of Houser, five floors, Reinhardt III. The 1996 game is the surface: Lyle, son of Jean, walking from Quist to Verdite Castle while Seath holds his father. Between them, the 1995 game is Melanat, and Aleph is a prince of Granatyki, not a Verdite heir. If a guide calls every map Verdite, it is flattening three discs.

Places inside the kingdom that the route actually uses: Ancient Tower, the castle, the cemetery, and four elemental shrines in the broader notes, plus the Forest of Varde and Hill of Prayer on the 1996 road. Zoela is named among the people tied to the kingdom in the same cluster of pages. I do not have a sourced biography long enough to split her into a character URL.

Why the 2001 game is not this map

The Ancient City is Heladin, the Land of Disaster. Devian is not walking to Verdite Castle. The Moonlight Sword still matters there, which is the thread, not the geography. People who start on PlayStation 2 and then buy the US PlayStation games should expect a different country, not a prequel corridor of the same city.
