King's Field undub patches

One opening, not four games

Search traffic asks for undubs of King's Field II and III. The record I can cite is narrower. Archive.org holds a King's Field IV opening undub, version 1.0a, dated 13 June 2026. It replaces the English opening movie with the Japanese voice and subtitles. The notes say it is an xdelta aimed at a Redump US image, with CRC32 879215A7. It does not redub the rest of the game.

I did not find a comparable file for the PlayStation games. Writing "no undub found" as a status is more useful than a hopeful maybe. If you want the music without the movie, the cue people upload as Dark Reality is discussed on the soundtrack page.

Apply patches only to an image you dumped. I do not redistribute the xdelta. The English situation, which is a different question, is here.
