King's Field on PSP
UMDs, not a portable Ancient City
A search for King's Field PSP is not The Ancient City on a smaller screen. It is two Japanese UMDs: Additional I on 20 July 2006 and Additional II on 24 August 2006. CERO A. No North American title, no European title, and no English patch with a dated public entry in the set I checked. The chapters are stage-based. The second UMD can pull a character and equipment across from the first, which is the feature that makes owning both different from owning one.
A PSP plays the UMD directly. People who already own the disc sometimes use PPSSPP. This site does not host UMD images and does not link sites that do. Feature-phone King's Field from 2004 and 2005 is a third category. Do not buy a PSP expecting Mobile or EX.
What a listing should show
A honest listing names Additional I or Additional II, shows the Japanese spine, and does not promise an English menu. If the seller says "King's Field portable" without a date, ask whether the case reads キングスフィールド and whether it is the July or the August disc. The August disc is the one that talks about importing the earlier save.
I do not have an eBay aggregate for these UMDs in the price set used for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games, so the price cell stays empty. The game-design contrast is on the Additional page. Series-wide patch status is on patches.

FAQ
Is The Ancient City on PSP?
No. PSP received Additional I and II only, both in 2006, both in Japanese.
Can I play Additional in English?
No commercial English version is recorded, and no dated English patch was in the sources for this page.
Does the second game need the first?
It runs alone. Importing a character and gear requires a save from Additional I.
