Regions, in the order guides tend to move

Devian wakes in the Zone of Darkness. The sequence I am willing to repeat, with the caveat that you can double back, is Holy Forest, Old Battlefield, Egg Field, Ocean Fort, the Ancient City itself, Palace of Darkness, Great Graveyard, Treasury, Passage of Light, Hall of Five Wands, Shrine of Oath, Center Tower, Mansion of Howling Winds, Widda Castle, Iron Refinery, Egg Mines, Earth Folk Caves, King's Mausoleum, and Dark Reality. Idol of Sorrow is the key item those notes name. Clarity Bracelet, which multiplies the magic ceiling, is an early wooden-box find in the same FAQ, not an endgame prize.

Rock of Life is two objects in the first mine: one advances the story, one is traded for a Crystal Vial. I keep them distinct so a player does not sell both. Five in-game maps fill in over time. Navigation is part of the difficulty, which is the cleanhit FAQ's phrasing, not mine. A full printed atlas existed in the Prima book. I am not redrawing that book.

The Dark One and the sword ending

The final boss is the Dark One. The notes describe a fight that takes repeated hits and then a dropping maze. I do not have a sourced mid-boss roster I trust. Names that float in unfinished wiki templates stay off this page. Two endings depend on whether you are carrying the Moonlight Sword. That is the branch to save before the last door, not a New Game Plus menu.

Turn with the D-pad and look vertically with the triggers. Speeding the turn up is the mistake the FAQ warns against. Picture settings belong on PCSX2, not in the middle of a region list.
