King's Field lore
What the four discs actually share
Valicia is the world name. Verdite, Granatyki, and Egret are the kingdoms in the telling after Harvine. Seath and Guyra come from the Vallad split, white and black. The Moonlight Sword and Dark Slayer are the paired blades, not two names for one object. Houser, Jean Alfred Forester, and Lyle are the family that crosses the 1994 tomb and the 1996 kingdom. Aleph is a Granatyki prince on Melanat and is not that family. Devian is Heladin in 2001.
I keep Heladin on a side rail. The Ancient City repeats the sword and the slow first-person body. It does not walk you back to Verdite Castle. Idol of Sorrow is that game's relic, not the Verdite crystal.
Years between Melanat and the Verdite crisis are disputed in retellings. I do not pick five, ten, or fifteen. The dragon page holds the same refusal: Seath. The place page is Verdite. The studio history is FromSoftware.

FAQ
Are all four games one story?
The first three Japanese games share Verdite's family and the dragons. The Ancient City is a related strand in Heladin.
Who splits into Seath and Guyra?
Vallad, in the lore notes. I do not add a date for the split.
Is there a King's Field bible?
No single book is the source of this page. It is the overlap of the game articles and the wikis.
